Cathy Cramer is a former lawyer and investigative blogger who writes commentary on local homicides. When she finds a note threatening that she's about to experience the same kind of speculation and judgment that she dishes out, Cathy writes it off - until her brother is caught up in the investigation of the murder of his ex-wife. As he is tried and convicted in the media, Cathy and her two sisters moonlight as investigators to clear their brother's name.
