Abstract:
Inspired by an article in the July 1964 edition of Desert Magazine, about a bigfoot-type creature they dubbed "The Abominable Sandman of Borrego," paranormal podcasters Derek Hayes and David Flora embark on a journey to the deserts of Southern California to discover what mysteries the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park has to offer. After collecting numerous reports of encounters with cryptids, ghosts, and UFOs in the area, the pair set out to visit this wasteland to observe, report on, and investigate what they've named, the "Borrego Triangle," a possible portal or "window area" to the paranormal. This film showcases the beautiful desert landscape, and preserves local stories and folklore, while also including a variety of expert testimony, witness interviews, animations, military run-ins, and on-site investigations. Hayes and Flora's quest to uncover the truth inside the Triangle will open your mind and leave you questioning whether there is high strangeness in the Borrego Desert.
